Business Analyst

Makati City | Taguig City

· Understanding business needs, gather business requirements for system development 

· Design, modify, create business process to implement business transformation solutions 

· Controls the scope of the project in order to meet the project timeline. 

· Provide high-level estimates based on business requirements. 

· Manages the team and represents a point of escalation.

· Develop, maintain and obtain sign-off of the business requirements and ensure new/enhanced system meet the business requirements and objectives including functional and non-functional requirements. 

· Develop, maintain and obtain sign-off of the Functional Specification Document that meets business requirements and system capability. 

· Assists on the development and review of SIT and UAT test scenario/case based on business scenarios and FSD

· Work with business on the creation/update to the business process based on new business requirements. 

· Provide support to clarify issues between business user and technology team during SIT, UAT, Go-live and Post Go-live business lead and implementor. 

· Manages issues escalated by the team. Performs other related tasks which may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or any related field.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, preferably in Banking, Financial Services, Lending, or FinTech.(non-negotiable)
  • Proven experience in requirements gathering, business analysis, and solution design for system development and enhancement projects. (non-negotiable)
  • Strong experience in preparing and maintaining:
    • Business Requirements Documents (BRD) (non-negotiable)
    • Functional Specification Documents (FSD) (non-negotiable)
    • Process Flow Diagrams (non-negotiable)
    • Business Process Documentation (non-negotiable)
  • Experience in analyzing and improving business processes to support digital transformation initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Experience collaborating with business users, project managers, developers, QA teams, and third-party vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Experience supporting System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Go-Live, and Post Go-Live activities, including test scenario and test case review. (non-negotiable)
  • Ability to manage multiple requirements and prioritize deliverables while ensuring project scope and timelines are maintained.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to facilitate requirement gathering sessions and present solutions to business stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, Azure DevOps, or similar collaboration/documentation platforms.
  • Basic SQL knowledge for data validation and analysis is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in consumer finance, digital lending, banking operations, or financial services is highly preferred. (non-negotiable)
  • Previous experience working with external vendors or third-party system providers. (non-negotiable)
  • Experience leading small initiatives or mentoring junior Business Analysts is an advantage. (non-negotiable)
