ETL & Data Testing

Validate data between source and target systems (DB2, Oracle, MySQL, etc.)

Perform data reconciliation, data completeness, and transformation validation

Write complex SQL queries for data validation and analysis

Test ETL pipelines across layers (Landing → Raw → Derived → Mart)

Identify and troubleshoot data discrepancies

Automation Testing (Python)

Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Python

Automate ETL validation (data comparison, counts, schema validation)

Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines

Generate test execution reports and dashboards

UI Testing (Playwright)

Design and execute UI automation scripts using Python + Playwright

Validate data displayed in dashboards (e.g., Tableau or web portals)

Handle dynamic elements, filters, and UI validations

Perform cross-browser testing

API Testing

Test REST APIs using tools like Postman / Python requests / REST Assured

Validate API responses, schema, and data consistency

Automate API test cases and integrate with frameworks

Perform negative and edge case testing

Performance Testing (JMeter)

Design and execute performance test plans using Apache JMeter

Conduct load, stress, and scalability testing

Analyze performance metrics (throughput, response time, error rate)

Identify bottlenecks and provide optimization suggestions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree graduate

• 3-5 years of experience in ETL Testing & Data Warehousing concepts

• 3-5 years Python programming

• Hands-on experience with Playwright (UI Automation)

• Strong SQL skills (joins, aggregations, window functions)

• Experience in API testing and automation

• Experience with Apache JMeter for performance testing

• Knowledge of AWS services (S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift) is a plus

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.)

• Experience in cloud-based ETL pipelines

• Knowledge of data migration testing

• Experience with Tableau or BI dashboards validation

• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology
