Design and execute test plans on software applications and computer systemsRecord and document results and compare to expected resultsDetect software failures so that defects may be discovered and correctedDocument issues and maintain them in an issues logWork with infra team to setup and operate test environmentsWork with development team to properly plan for code (and code fixes) migration against the progress of test activitiesAnalyzes project requirementsPerforms a product risk assessment based on requirementsIdentifies and analyzes risksEstablishes test strategy and complex test approachPlans for staffing, capacity planning
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Senior Automation Tester. (Non-negotiable)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in automated testing. (Non-negotiable)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in test planning and test design. (Non-negotiable)
Solid experience in manual testing. (Non-negotiable)
Minimum 1 year of experience in a supervisory or managerial QA role, not limited to acting as a sub-lead. (Non-negotiable)
Experience with various software testing methodologies. (Non-negotiable)
Advanced knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). (Non-negotiable)
Strong planning and organizational skills. (Non-negotiable)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. (Non-negotiable)
Experience with banking applications or packaged applications is an advantage
