Jr. Data Specialist

The Jr Data Specialist is responsible for managing, processing, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data across multiple systems to support business operations and decision-making.
This role involves data collection, cleansing, validation, and analysis, as well as maintaining databases and generating reports for various stakeholders.
The Data Specialist collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve data quality, streamline processes, and support initiatives such as reporting, automation, and data-driven insights, while ensuring compliance with organizational standards and best practices.
Collect, encode, and consolidate data from multiple sources, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
Perform data cleansing, validation, and regular quality checks to maintain data integrity.
Manage and maintain databases, including data uploads, downloads, and updates across systems.
Generate and distribute routine and ad hoc reports for stakeholdersAnalyze datasets to identify trends, discrepancies, and actionable insights to support decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and improve reporting processes.
Support data-related projects such as automation, system enhancements, and process optimization.
Document data processes, standards, and workflows to ensure consistency and compliance.
Monitor and resolve data issues or discrepancies in a timely mannerEnsure adherence to data governance policies, security standards, and organizational best practices.
Assist with customer feedback analysis and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Perform additional tasks not covered.
Qualifications
The candidate must have:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (fresh graduates welcome)
0–1 year of experience in master data management or related roles
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good attention to details
Basic computer literacy (email, chat tools, CRM systems)
Good problem-solving and multitasking abilities
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult customer interactions with professionalism.
Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
